Talking Points

Nossa, vcs tão ignorando The Hobbit total. Sure about that?

Kristopher Tapley @kristapley Hathaway wins. GOD. I wept. Film's a triumph. They're on their feet here. NYC crowd ate...it...up. #lesmiserables
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley Massive pops throughout the credits.
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley Hooper, Redmayne, Hathaway, Seyfried and Barks here for Q&A. Shouts of "I love you!" and "Well done!"
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley "Suddenly," by the way, is a beautiful song addition.
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley Ditto. Yes. And frankly Cohen and Carter, too. RT @202chicago: @kristapley Is Samantha Barks a contender?
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley I think so. RT @antonishu: @kristapley Could Redmayne be a contender?
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley I don't know. Neither he nor Crowe are the story of the cast to me. RT @brotycka: Jackman a lock for Best Actor?
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit 15 round of applauses later and Anne Hathaway singing her #Oscar speech, Les Miserables is stunning!!!!
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit Hugh Jackman delivers his career best work. Samantha Barks is the breakout star and Eddie "sings like an angel" Redmayne OMG!!! #LesMiz
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit Hooper tops The Kings Speech in a big way ...Lincoln and Argo better get their #Oscar gloves on
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit If we're talking Jackman in a Lead Actor five, unfortunately may not happen. Same for Redmayne in Supporting #LesMiz
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit Poor Russell Crowe. With everyone singing spectacular, he stands out like a sore thumb. #LesMiserables
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit @lsuduck Meh passable. [of Russell Crowe]
Clayton Davis @awardscircuit @thejohnrivera Strong. Definitely in conversation and dare I say may be locked in for a nomination. [of Tom Hooper]
Ryan Charles Brown @senatorbrown Oh. My. God. Les Miserables was breathtakingly, painstakingly, heartbreakingly beautiful. Well done Tom Hooper.
Jay Yao @jayyay Wow. Everyone should watch Les Miserables... So brilliant.
kristine michelle @krispaayshell @marina_Dee and i were part of the first group of people to see LesMiserables movie, my life is forever changed <3
kristine michelle @krispaayshell Les Miserables is honestly one of the best movies i have ever watched #honesttoblog
Jack Rico @jackricofficial LES MISERABLES is a masterpiece! Will win Best Picture, Oscar nods for Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Best Score, etc. ARGO has nothing on it.
Wilson Morales @blackfilm Standing O for #LesMiserables! Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks are on stage now for Q & A.
Dave Karger @davekarger First #LesMiserables screening went over extremely well. I'd call it a sure thing Picture nominee for Oscar and the probable Globe winner.
Dave Karger @davekarger Anne Hathaway could easily win supporting actress. Her "I Dreamed a Dream" is the showstopper. #LesMiserables
Dave Karger @davekarger Hugh Jackman has a great shot to bump out Denzel or Joaquin in the Best Actor race. His singing is quite impressive. #LesMiserables
Dave Karger @davekarger Russell Crowe will be polarizing. I liked him but some people won't like his voice. Supp actor is weak so he has a shot tho. #LesMiserables
nate brown @natedog4th Argo was great and all, but, even without having seen it, I'm calling Les Miserables for the best picture upset.
Steven Zeitchik @zeitchiklat Hathaway is a stand-out, albeit in very few scenes; Jackman and Crowe singing is solid but doesn't reach for as much. #LesMiserables Retweeted by Scott Feinberg

- Russell Crowe: out.

Dwight Henry fora do Indie Spirits = big deal.
